Yikes!

Sorry beautiful people! I realize I’m not very good at keeping up with this blog. School and my internship have been extremely time consuming. So I will say, random Penguins info will show up on this blog. The posts may be few and far between but they will be awesome…kinda like Geno’s tweets. ;)

Have a fantastical afternoon my extended family of Penguins fans!

P.S if you’re not doing it already PLEASE go and follow Geno on twitter @71Malkin_ :))))))

And todays “photo of the day” because I know every Pens fan gets an unreal smile on their face when they see these 2 work together and puck the puck in the net. Dream Team.

For any of you who haven’t heard the news yet, the Penguins have claimed forward Zach Boychuk off waivers from the Hurricanes. Hopefully this skilled Canadian boy can help out the Pens this season!

HOCKEY’S BACK!!! and yes I know I should have posted a while ago, but school’s been busy but I’m back! I’ll have all your Penguins info right here! So have fun reading my blog…hopefully a little Penguins hockey news from yours truly can brighten your day :)

So we got off to a great start with wins against the rival flyers and the rangers but since then things have been a tad messy. Let’s hope our Penguins can get back on track with a new look to the power play and get away from the rangers with another W tonight!

PENS FANS! Finally some happy news!!! Pittsburgh’s hottest d-man is healthy again and fully recovered from his hip injury! Letang played with a sore hip through the playoffs last season but whether we get a shortened season or no season until next October we will have back our strong, healthy French-Canadian Kristopher Letang!

So we have officially been locked out Pens fans…the nightmare has become reality. It’s gonna be a rooouuuuggghhh year. So here’s to hoping they work something out soon and we can have a shortened season. I think it’s safe for me to say that we’re gonna miss all the ups and downs of a season with our boys. So for now all we can do is be heartbroken together.

Big congrats to Pens center Joe Vitale who had his #16 high school jersey retired. “Joey V” had his whole family there to celebrate his awesome accomplishment and I can’t wait to see him back on the ice! Click the link below to read more about Joe’s accomplishments during his time as captain of his high school team :)

Hello again! I’m re-starting this blog and HOPE TO GOD IN HEAVEN that we get a hockey season this year! I’ll be keeping you updated on everything Penguins…starting with this!
Pens forward Craig Adams is one of many people who have been affected by ALS - a neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of it’s ability to walk and speak. His father-in-law is currently battling the disease. Adams and his wife participated in the Walk to Defeat ALS at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium, raising funds in the drive to find a cure. If you want to read more about the walk and the events that went on that day pleeeeease check out this link - http://penguins.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=641115&navid=DL|PIT|home
